FAQs

Q – Do you accept book donations?

A.

We will accept small book donations. We do not have the storage space for large amounts of books.

We do not accept school textbooks, old magazines, encyclopedias, or Reader’s Digest Condensed collections.

Donated books may be placed on the shelves at our Sabina or New Vienna location. They might also be placed in a book sale to earn money for the library.

Q – How do I get a library card?

A.

To get a new adult library card you must bring government issued ID to the library and complete an application. If your address is different than the one on your ID, then you will also need to bring a utility bill or rental agreement with your name and correct address. New cards are free.

Children as young as 3 yrs. can get a library card once a parent or legal guardian completes an application for the child.

Once a child is in third grade, he/she can register for their own library card without needing a parent or guardian signature.
